N.J. FF dies suddenly at home

BAYONNE, N.J. — Firefighter Otto Weber died suddenly on Friday, the Hudson Reporter reported.

The firefighter died at home. Weber served with the department for 22 years and was a member of of Tower Ladder 2, Group 3.

“Otto was a 22-year veteran of the Bayonne Fire Department and a friend to us all, a good family man, and a talented firefighter,” Bayonne Fire Chief Keith Weaver said. “Otto was always ready to help anyone with any project while working in the firehouse or while off duty.”

He is survived by his wife, children, parents and other family members.
