Retired FDNY firefighter dies of WTC-related illness

Thomas D. Healy served with the department for 35 years

NEW YORK — Retired FDNY Firefighter Thomas D. Healy, formerly with Ladder Company 25, died from his World Trade Center-related illness on Dec. 22, the FDNY Family Assistance Unit announced Monday.

Healy served with FDNY for 35 years.

He is survived by his children and grandchildren.
