GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The firefighter injured while working on a fire in Grand Rapids is expected to be okay after he fell down a flight of stairs.
Fire officials say the man tripped on a hose while going up the outdoor stairs to a second floor apartment and fell to the ground.
The firefighter landed on his head and was knocked out. He was taken to the hospital, but is expected to be okay. No one else was hurt.
