ROCKFORD, Ill. — The Rockford Fire Department says one of its veteran firefighters suddenly died of a heart attack while he was out of town.
Terrance Freeman was visiting family in Westmont, Illinois when he died of an apparent heart attack.
Freeman joined the fire department in 2005 and was training to be a paramedic.
