This week’s Photo of the Week shows how the McAllen (Texas) Fire Department and Make-A-Wish Rio Grande Valley went above and beyond to make a young cancer patient’s dreams come true.
Justin Perez, 4, wanted to become a firefighter, but the McAllen Fire Department took his wish a few steps further and promoted him all the way to fire chief! Chief Perez spent the day with crews at the station and got the chance to spray a fire hose while dressed in his own custom gear.
