PIGEON FORGE, Tenn. — Three visitors were injured after a display wall of ice collapsed at the Titanic Museum Attraction in Tennessee.

Pigeon Forge Fire Department responders triaged and transported two victims to LeConte Medical Center, and the third was airlifted to University of Tennessee Medical Center in Knoxville, CNN reported.

The conditions of the victims are unknown.

“Needless to say, we never would have expected an incident like this to occur as the safety of our guests and crew members are always top of mind,” a statement by Titanic Museum Attraction owners Mary Kellogg Joslyn and John Joslyn read. “We take pride in the quality of our maintenance and have measures in place to ensure that appropriate safety guidelines are upheld.”

It’s unclear why the wall collapsed.

“Something caused that ice to fall off of that wall,” PFFD Chief Tony L. Watson told CNN.

The museum was reopened to the public on Tuesday.
