ROSWELL N.M. — Roswell Fire Department Firefighter Jeff Stroble succumbed to his injuries sustained during a June fireworks explosion.
Stroble, 46, was one of 12 firefighters injured during an explosion while prepping for the July fireworks display, KOB 4 reports. Stroble and Hoby Bonham were critically wounded during the blast and transported to the hospital. First responders treated the remaining firefighters for minor injuries at the scene.
The hospital released Bonham in early July to finish recouping at home.
