Fallen Baltimore FF-medic posthumously promoted to lieutenant
Kelsey Sadler was acting in the lieutenant role during the fatal Stricker Street fire that killed two fellow firefighters

BALTIMORE — By order of Fire Chief Niles Ford, Baltimore Firefighter-Paramedic Kelsey Sadler has been posthumously promoted to the rank of lieutenant.
According to the Baltimore Firefighters IAFF Local 734, Sadler was acting in the lieutenant role during the Stricker Street fire that killed her, Lt. Paul Butrim, and Firefighter-EMT Kenny Lacayo.
The firefighter who survived the collapse of the burning vacant home, Firefighter-EMT John McMaster, has been reported to be in fair condition.
