HENRIETTA, N.Y. — A fire crew who responded to a pizza delivery driver’s vehicle crash made sure the customers got their food in time.
Henrietta Fire District firefighters responded to another kind of call after treating the driver and getting him into an ambulance, according to a Facebook post.
“If it’s not delivery, its Di ... Fire dept?!” the Facebook post said. “Once the patient was cared for and loaded into the ambulance, the crew decided to finish the delivery so the pizza wouldn’t go to waste.”
The post added that the firefighters “thanked the customer for deciding to order out and not risk burning food and setting off the fire alarm.”
