BRAZIL — Two military firefighters have been rescued after missing for eight hours in a flood zone.
The Brazilian firefighters were on a rescue mission because of floods in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, according to a report.
The firefighters used a civilian guide to navigate the area, but their boat accidentally over-turned.
They were forced to climb into a tree and spend the night before being rescued the next day.
No injuries were reported.
