‘Santa’ dashes to Pa. duplex blaze

The firefighter left a Christmas event to respond to a fire in Marcus Hook

MARCUS HOOK, Pa. — A Delaware County firefighter, dressed as Santa Claus for a Christmas event, joined the effort to fight a house fire on Dec. 13.

Firefighters responded to the 1000 block of McClenachan Terrace in Marcus Hook and found fire showing from the second floor of a duplex, WPVI reported.

A working fire dispatch was immediately requested, bringing additional units to the scene, according to a social media post from the Marcus Hook Trainer Fire Department.

The fire was brought under control within 20 minutes. No injuries were reported.
