WASHINGTON — A building under renovation collapsed in Northeast Washington D.C., just missing two passing pedestrians and a fire truck passing by the scene.

Security camera video captured by resident Andy Feliciotti shows the two women passing by the building, one using a walker, just moments before part of the building fell, dropping dust and debris onto the street below.

A DC Fire and EMS ladder truck rolled by just seconds later, stopping to assess the situation.

The firefighters were returning from a call when the collapse occurred, according to WUSA9. They immediately began assisting the women and called for more resources.

One of the women was possibly hit by debris and transported to the hospital.
