FRENCH CAMP, Calif. — A firefighter accused of having sex in a fire truck while on-duty has been reinstated.

French Camp, Calif., Fire District's fire board voted three to one Thursday to reinstate Firefighter Brandon Wilson, according to News10.

Firefighter Wilson had been on paid leave for a year due to the allegations that he had sex in a fire truck at a firehouse multiple times.

Both the sexual misconduct allegations, which date back to 2007, and the decision to reinstate Firefighter Wilson have created a division of public opinion among residents in the small town of about 4,000 people.
