NEW YORK — Five FDNY firefighters were hurt while battling a two-alarm apartment fire Tuesday.
NBC New York reported that the firefighters, along with three other victims, did not suffer life-threatening injuries. Most of the injuries were caused by smoke inhalation.
The firefighters rescued one person from the second floor of the building with a ladder and contained the blaze.
The fire is currently under investigation.
