MOSCOW — Emergency crews recovered the bodies of three firefighters who died while battling a fire at an oil depository in Siberia, officials said Monday.
Lightning was blamed for starting the fire Saturday at the Konda facility in the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area, Russian news agency RIA Novosti said. Officials said lightning struck an oil reservoir, then spread to two other reservoirs.
Officials said five other people were injured.
