QUINCY, Calif. — A firefighter died last Tuesday after responding to a fire in California.
Quincy Volunteer Fire Department Captain William Floyd Hopman, 53, was found in his bed where he had passed away the day after responding to a structure fire.
Captain Hopman was a 20-year veteran of the fire service.
A funeral for Captain Hopman will be held on Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Qansner Airport, Highway 70, in Quincy, Calif.
