AUGUSTA, Ga. — Police say two brothers who were volunteer firefighters in South Carolina have been charged with arson in fires at several locations including a deli and an American Red Cross office.
Police say 23-year-old Christopher Lee Boatwright and 20-year-old Daniel Boatwright, both of Augusta, Georgia, face arson charges. Both men volunteered for a fire department in Clearwater.
The sheriff in Richmond County in Georgia, Sergeant Ken Rogers, says fires were set over the past several months at a deli, an amphitheater, a men’s restroom at a park, and an American Red Cross office.
