MORGAN, Texas — A firefighter died Sunday from injuries suffered while carrying out maintenance work at a firehouse.
Steele Creek Acres, Texas, Volunteer Firefighter Edward Mosely, 65, was helping other firefighters who were working on the roof of the fire station on September 14 when his heel caught on a stack of sheet metal and he fell backwards, hitting his head on the concrete floor.
Firefighter Mosley, a 15-year veteran of the fire service, went into a coma before his death as a result of the injury.
