A Wauwatosa firefighter accused of two counts of repeated sexual assault of a child, after having a relationship with a 14-year-old, committed suicide Monday.
David A. Fox, 32, formerly of Germantown, a firefighter with the Wauwatosa Fire Department, had earlier entered a plea of not guilty on two charges of repeated sexual assault of a child and was scheduled to appear with his attorney, Charles Blumenfield, on a routine jury status hearing before Washington County Circuit Judge David Resheske late Monday morning. Blumenfield appeared, but Fox did not.
An arrest warrant was ordered, but was held until the end of the day to give Blumenfield a chance to contact his client and get him to court.
