NEWTON, Mass. — Newton Police are looking for a man who is posing as a city firefighter.
There were at least two incidents last week where the man flashed a badge in an attempt to get into homes in Newton. The phony firefighter tells homeowners he needs to inspect their smoke detectors. Fortunately the man was not allowed into either home.
