Ohio firefighter dies after heart attack

Firefighter Hall, 57, was preparing to perform apparatus checks when he became sick

LYNCHBURG, Ohio — A firefighter died Monday after becoming ill at his fire station in Ohio.

Lynchburg Area Joint Fire & Ambulance District Volunteer Firefighter Robert Hall had just completed a firehouse meeting and was preparing to perform apparatus checks when he became sick.

While being transported to a local hospital, Firefighter Hall went into cardiac arrest and died.

Firefighter Hall, 57, was part of the fire service for four years.
