CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — A Tenn. fire captain died Monday morning after falling ill shortly after arriving to his station for work.
Capt. Roulos Davis, 49, of the Chattanooga Fire Department, was inside Station 14 in St. Elmo when he fell ill.
Firefighters administered CPR to try and revive him but were unable to, according to the Chattanoogan.
Capt. Davis died shortly after arriving at the hospital.
It is unclear why the 25-year veteran died, but it appears to be from natural causes.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
