TEXARKANA, Texas — Along with a new year comes a new title for Texarkana, Texas, Fire Chief Harry Simms.
On Jan. 1, he assumed the office of president of the Texas Fire Chiefs Association, to which he was elected in April.
TFCA is a professional association of fire chiefs and other service leaders with more than 600 members from communities across Texas.
