MELVILLE, N.Y. — Two passengers died Saturday morning when their car slid on the wet roadway into the path of an oncoming tractor-trailer in Melville, Suffolk police said.
Falene Sylvain, 21, of West Babylon, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Marlene Daniel, 42, of Wyandanch, was flown by helicopter to Stony Brook University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead, police said.
The two were passengers in a 1992 Toyota Camry being driven by Falene Sylvain’s brother, Isaac Sylvain, 20.
