Tensile Strength Testing measures fabric strength by determining how much force it takes to actually break a fabric. The machine creates a tug-of-war like scenario with the fabric acting as the rope in between. Once the break is produced in the fabric, five samples are averaged to provide the actual strength of the fabric.
