EUSTIS, Fla. — A paramedic and two firefighters were arrested after allegedly breaking into the paramedic’s former home and attacking two people.

WFTV reported that paramedic Michael Amedeo’s wife ended their marriage a couple of weeks ago and he had to move out of their home.

Police said that Amadeo later showed up with two firefighters, Michael Downs and Cody Wages, and the three attacked Amadeo’s wife and her male friend, pulling the man out of the home and beating him up in the yard.

When the wife tried to call 911, police said Amadeo threw the phone away from her.

The wife suffered from a broken hand and bruises as a result of the attack, according to police.

The firefighters and paramedic, who claimed they had been drinking before the attack, were arrested and placed on paid administrative leave.
