MIAMI — A Florida firefighter hospitalized with COVID-19 shared a touching video of his fellow firefighters using a ladder truck to visit him through the window.
The firefighter, who was not identified, is currently recuperating from COVID-19 complications, according to a tweet from Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.
“This is love. This is the only kind of love you can get from the brother and sisterhood at the firehouse,” the firefighter said, filming from his hospital room window as the crew raised the ladder.
The firefighters also sent “Get Well Soon” cards and held up a sign reading “Your New Firehouse,” according to a Facebook post by the department.
