STRASBURG, Va. — Five volunteer firefighters are under investigation for allegedly committing sex acts with an underage girl and then sharing the video of the acts on an app.
WJLA.com reported that the accusations were first made in April when a citizen told Strasburg Mayor Rich Orndoff about it. Mayor Orndoff said he met with the town manager, police chief and police captain after hearing about the alleged acts.
Police obtained shared texts and screengrabs about the alleged sex acts from the victim’s mother.
“Screenshots provided by the mother … indicate the victim was highly intoxicated, was intimidated by all the suspects and the sex with (suspect name) was not consensual,” the affidavit said.
The affidavit said the alleged sex acts happened at one of the firefighter’s houses, as well as at a hotel. A state police spokesperson said the alleged sex acts were originally reported happening at the firehouse, but was later ruled out.
No charges have been filed yet, but an investigation is ongoing. All five firefighters are not on leave and are still working.
