PENNS VALLEY, Pa. — A longtime Millheim Volunteer Fire Company Firefighter died Wednesday after a head-on collision in Penns Valley, Pennsylvania.

Centre Daily Times reported Kevin Lingle, of Aaronsburg, was 64 years old.

After a 20-year-old woman crashed into Lingle’s 2003 Pontiac Montana, he died of chest and abdominal injuries at a nearby hospital.

Lingle’s passenger and the other driver were treated for injuries, according to statecollege.com, and the crash remains under investigation.
