LOCH SHELDRAKE, N.Y. — A firefighter died Tuesday after responding to a call earlier in the day.
USFA reported that Loch Sheldrake Fire Department firefighter Ronald Hinkle responded to a vehicle crash, and was found unresponsive in his home later in the day.
Colleagues and other responders tried to revive Hinkle, but he died of what is currently an unknown cause.
