MILFORD, Mass. — A firefighter was hospitalized Friday after a ceiling collapsed on top of him.
While firefighters were battling a house fire, the ceiling in one of the bedrooms caved in, burying a firefighter in drywall, reported WCVB.
The firefighter was aided by others on scene, and was placed on a stretcher to be transported to the hospital.
Although Deputy Fire Chief Mark Nelson said there was construction going on in the attic, he could not confirm whether the work was connected to the fire.
This story will be updated as more details are available.
