BALTIMORE, Md. — A firefighter was injured, possibly from heat exhaustion, during a house fire Tuesday evening in West Baltimore, officials said.

Crews arrived about 6 p.m. to find two row houses burning in the 2800 block of Clifton Ave., near Coppin State University.

The flames burned from the second floors and the fires were controlled in about an hour. Three vacant row houses suffered damage.

One civilian also suffered an injury, but not related to the fire, officials said.

The cause wasn’t immediately known.
