DETROIT — An EMS truck and a passenger van collided early Saturday evening in Detroit, leaving a 1-year-old passenger in the van and a 58-year-old patient in the ambulance dead.
The 1-year-old and a 12-year-old who were in the back of the van were thrown out of the vehicle during the crash.
The 12-year-old was listed in critical condition at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit.
