RICHMOND, Kan. — A father and three children have died in a fire at their home in east-central Kansas.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department says the victims of the early Monday blaze are an infant, two small children and an adult male. The department says a woman and another child escaped the burning home and are being treated at hospitals. The victims’ identities and their relationship have not been released.
The fire was reported about 1:40 a.m. Monday.
The Kansas State Fire Marshal’s office and the Kansas Bureau of Investigation are investigating the fire.
