Lt. Terrance Morgan Pryor, 48, became ill and died at home after his last shift

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A fire lieutenant died May 25 after responding to the last emergency call of his shift.

The U.S. Fire Administration reported that Lt. Terrance Morgan Pryor, 48, with the Memphis Fire Department, became ill and died at home after his last shift. The cause of Lt. Pryor’s death is pending.

He was a 20-year fire service veteran.
