The San Francisco American LaFrance Pink Ribbon Engine has some special significance as it is the first in a series that will continue in the years ahead.

This Engine, an American LaFrance Eagle Pumper, is unique in decoration and color. The model is painted in a deep burgundy and has the 100th anniversary logo on its sides. It is decorated with a Pink Ribbon just as the real model does in the month of October in recognition of National Breast Caner Awareness Month. Code 3 will make a donation to the National Breast Cancer Foundation to fulfill their mission to save lives through early detection and education National Breast Cancer Foundation (http://www.nationalbreastcancer.org).
