New Ohio dispatch center malfunctions on opening day

HARRISON, Ohio — A fire in Harrison Township destroyed a home, injured a homeowner and medic and killed several pets.

But now, Newscenter 7 has learned the blaze uncovered some problems with Montgomery County's new regional dispatch center, just opened Thursday morning.

In 15 minutes Thursday afternoon, 14 calls were made to 911 regarding the Wheeler fire.
