2 fire trucks stolen from Okla. volunteer fire depts.

Leach Fire Chief Tom Pierce said the equipment on the truck is worth over $175,000

LEACH, Okla. — Two fire trucks from two volunteer fire departments were stolen Thursday morning.

Suspects broke into the Leach fire station around 3:38 a.m. and stole the truck, reported KTUL. The truck carried equipment worth over $175,000, said Leach Fire Chief Tom Pierce.

A second truck was also stolen from the Oaks Volunteer Fire Department. It is unclear if the same suspects stole that one as well.

Police are investigating the thefts.
