OCALA, Fla. — To meet the unique demands of customers located in extreme climates, E-ONE has designed a new stainless steel, top-mount enclosed commercial pumper and will display the new product during the 2015 Fire Department Instructor’s Conference (FDIC) in Indianapolis next week.

“We wanted to provide customers with a commercial top-mount enclosed pumper that met the unique extreme weather performance demands of this application without having to compromise space for key personnel or equipment,” said Jay Johnson, vice president of sales and product management for E-ONE. “Furthermore, the eMAX pump configuration combined with the one-piece, stainless steel crew cab and pump module allows us to offer a 10-20" shorter wheelbase than similar products while increasing useable compartment space and making the truck more maneuverable.”

When combined, the redesigned crew area and chassis cab offer seating for up to seven personnel with convenience features in the crew cab including fold-up heated seats, armrest cup holders and dynamic SCBA mounting.

The top mount enclosed configuration with cable controls features pre-connects, discharges and suction inlets located in the pump module away from the cab seating area.

Both the top-mount enclosed crew cab and body are constructed completely of stainless steel for strength and corrosion resistance. Furthermore, the crew cab and body are available with E-ONE’s patented Fiberglass Reinforced Panel (FRP) paint process with a 12-year paint warranty.
