The Combating Terrorism Technical Support Offices’s (CTTSO) Technical Support Working Group (TSWG) is hosting the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) 2009 Conference in partnership with the Department of Homeland Security, the National Institute of Justice, the National Institute for Occupational Health and Safety, the National Fire Protection Association, and the International Association of Firefighters.
The conference will provide information on currently available and future respiratory equipment, protective clothing (chemical, biological, radiological, thermal, flame, ballistic, etc.), and physiological burden. If your team has a need to gain a better understanding of this type of equipment, has requirements for new gear in upcoming years, or is aware of emerging threats for which they are not currently protected, your team should attend this conference. Subject matter experts from the military, government, academia and private industry will be providing updates on the current state of the art in personal protection. The vendor exhibits will provide hands-on time with currently available and next generation gear. The conference will provide ample opportunity for networking with other users and developers.
