Firefighter Combat Challenge Holds Finals in Las Vegas
FireRescue Conference & Exposition, produced by FireRescue Magazine and Reed Exhibitions, announced today that the Firefighter Combat World Challenge XV will be held in conjunction with the event in November. This is the second year the Challenge will be held in conjunction with FireRescue, adding an extra element of excitement for attendees and competitors alike.
Hailed by ESPN as the “toughest two minutes in sports,” The Firefighter Combat World Challenge is designed to test and accentuate firefighter fitness. The world’s top firefighters will compete in a linked series of five tasks that illustrate the physical rigors of firefighting. Relay and tandem finals will be held on November 10, with the culmination of the yearlong competition, the World Challenge XV Finals, on November 11.
