WHAT: The Houston Fire Department will give a safety presentation and meet with residents of the condominiums where three children recently died as a result of a fire.
WHEN: Saturday, July 8, 2006, 11 am to 12 pm
WHERE: Saint Joseph Condominiums, 8258 Park Place #503
DETAILS: HFD Community Outreach members Assistant Chief Omero Longoria, Captain Homero-Ponce Lopez and Engineer Operator Thanh Nguyen will present the residents of the Saint Joseph Condominiums with safety information in English and Vietnamese.
A presentation on burglar bars will also be given, with a special burglar bar display donated by Affordable Bars of Channelview, Texas.
HFD distributed fliers about the safety presentation to all of the residents this morning, July 6.
