HOUSTON — A Houston firefighter was hospitalized for dehydration while battling a blaze at a northwest-side apartment complex.
The firefighter, who was not identified, was overcome at a three-alarm fire that broke out about 8 p.m. on Monday at an apartment along Watonga at La Monte, officials said.
The fire was brought under control about an hour later. There were no other reported injuries, officials said. A common attic in the building helped the fire to spread, officials said.
