SHALLOWATER, Texas — Two members of the Shallowater Volunteer Fire Department were injured when the apparatus they were riding in overturned while driving to a grass fire.

Crews were en route to the incident when the driver lost control and left the road before overcorrecting, causing the fire truck to overturn, SVFD Lieutenant Jordan Rackler told KCBD.

One of the injured firefighters was transported and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, and the other was transported to a medical facility, treated and released.
