Texas firefighter injured in rollover crash en route to call, tanker crushed

The Grimes County firefighter who was driving the apparatus suffered non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery

ANDERSON, Texas — A Grimes County firefighter was injured Saturday when the tanker he was driving rolled over in a crash while on the way to a fire, the Anderson Volunteer Fire Department announced on Facebook.

The crash crushed part of the apparatus.

The department said that the firefighter has non-life-threatening injuries and is expected to make a full recovery.

The department offered its thanks to multiple agencies and asked for prayers.
