CARROLL COUNTY, Ga. — A member of Carroll County Fire Rescue died after battling COVID-19.
CCFR Deputy Chief Tommy Hopson, a 31-year veteran of the department, died after being hospitalized for several days with the virus, CBS 46 reported.
Last week, Carroll County issued a statement asking for prayers, as they said Hopson was “in the battle of his life with this terrible illness.”
