Watch: Calif. firefighters hose down zoo animals amidst heat wave
Firefighters were called to the Oakland Zoo to cool off the elephants as visitors watched

OAKLAND, Calif. — For the first time ever, the Oakland Zoo asked firefighters to provide a little relief for the animals during a heat wave.
SFGate reported that the Oakland Fire Department used hoses to cool down the African elephants.
Visitors watched as firefighters William Sweeting and Marc Perez happily helped.
