Episode 5 features Dr. Danny Kistner of the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) discusses a new multi-organization research project exploring how community understanding (or misunderstanding) of fire service capabilities impacts firefighter safety, mental health and resource decisions. The project aims to produce data-driven educational programming for both the public and legislators, ultimately fostering a better-informed community that advocates for firefighter survivability, mental wellness, and adequate resourcing.
