Stanley, Wis. — An area restaurant is raising money for local fire departments, one pizza at a time.
Martino’s restaurant in Stanley donated all their profits Saturday to the Stanley and Boyd-Edson-Delmar fire departments. More than $7,000 was raised. Firefighters and EMT’s even helped out, making the pizzas and serving customers.
“This is just unbelievable that somebody would do a whole day of proceeds and give everything including their labor. The electric bill and everything I’m sure is a big amount,” says Chief Ron Patten, with the Boyd-Edson-Delmar Fire Department.
