These fire and EMS videos showcase a lot of generosity, Santa Claus, storytimes and even a little fun with emergency vehicles.

Santa letters

Like many other fire departments, the Orangeburg (N.Y.) Volunteer Fire Department recently hosted a holiday parade. Check out some decked out emergency vehicles and one super-excited kid.

The department also has been collecting children’s letters to Santa.

A fireside story

The Quincy (Illinois) Fire Department has been posting a series of bedtime stories. Here’s Firefighter Zelton Crose and sign language interpreter Paige Bichsel presenting “Santa Pups.”

Everyone loves a parade

Star EMS of Pontiac, Michigan, has been sponsoring an annual holiday parade for years. This year, the service had two balloons plus ambulances in the event. It started with a hearty-looking breakfast.

Safety tips

On the serious side, quite a few fire departments have been posting winter fire safety videos.
